I had the pleasure of working with Anna Patin on that freak summer weather friday we had a couple weeks back here in NYC. Anna is compiling images for her thesis based on her concept of celebrity death. She has dramatized the deaths of a few including Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Russell Brand, Lindsay, Ke$ha, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and Paris Hilton.
I had the honor of helping bring together the look for Kanye West. I styled him in a vintage black blazer, DSquared vest, Gap collared shirt and Helmut Lang pants, bowtie was models own. This was a great time between creative people. Laura the special effects make up person also did a kick my ass job brings the bruising and blood to life. The model Akil was also a great sport, with a swag and sense of style much like Mr/ West himself.
